REMC Tender: NTPC-ONGC JV Emerges Winner for 140 MW Round-the-Clock Green Energy Project

In a major development for the Indian renewable energy sector, Ayana Renewable Power Private Limited (Ayana), a wholly owned subsidiary of ONGC NTPC Green Private Limited, has emerged as a successful bidder in a crucial tender conducted by REMC Limited. The win sees Ayana securing a capacity of 140 MW for a Round The Clock (RTC) Renewable Energy (RE) Power Project.

ONGC NTPC Green Private Limited is a 50:50 Joint Venture (JV) established between NTPC Green Energy Limited and ONGC Green Limited.

Ayana secured the project at a competitive tariff of ₹4.35 per kWh. The victory was confirmed following an e-reverse auction that concluded on 21st November 2025.

The tender, titled “Selection of Project Developers for Supply of 1000 MW of Round-the-Clock (RTC) Power from Grid-Connected Renewable Energy (RE) Power Projects with or without Storage,” aims to bolster the grid with reliable, continuous renewable power. Securing 140 MW of this critical capacity marks a significant step for the NTPC-ONGC partnership in expanding its green energy footprint.

NTPC Green Energy Limited formally communicated this successful outcome to both the National Stock Exchange of India Limited and BSE Limited.
