In a move to solidify its standing in the global financial services landscape, HCLTech has announced a definitive agreement to acquire Finergic Solutions Pte Ltd, a boutique wealth consulting firm headquartered in Singapore.
The 100% cash deal, valued at 19 million Singapore Dollars, is expected to close by April 30, 2026.
The acquisition is designed to bolster HCLTech’s digital transformation offerings, specifically targeting the wealth management and core banking sectors.
By integrating Finergic’s niche consulting and architectural capabilities, HCLTech aims to accelerate the delivery of next-generation, AI-native solutions.
Finergic, founded in 2019, has quickly established a global footprint with operations in Singapore, Luxembourg, Switzerland, and India.
The firm reported a significant revenue jump to 12.6 million Singapore Dollars in 2024, nearly doubling its 2023 performance. Interestingly, HCLTech was already a major collaborator, accounting for 5.1 million Singapore Dollars of Finergic’s 2024 revenue.
“With Finergic’s focused domain expertise, HCLTech is strategically positioned to strengthen its digital services capabilities in wealth management,” stated Srinivasan Seshadri, Chief Growth Officer and Global Head of Financial Services at HCLTech.
The deal will complement HCLTech’s existing work with over 40 global banks using Temenos products.
Finergic’s co-founders—Ganesh Swaminathan, Saravanan Kandaswamy, and Senthil Kumar Sekar—expressed enthusiasm for the “new chapter,” noting that their shared vision for industry transformation will create significant value for enterprises.
This announcement was signed by Manish Anand, Company Secretary, as part of a disclosure under Regulation 30(4) of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosures Requirements) Regulations 2015.
