K.P. Energy Secures Major 99 MW Wind Power Project in Bhuj, Gujarat

K.P. Energy Limited has announced a significant milestone in its growth trajectory with the receipt of a Letter of Award (LOA) for a 99 MW wind power project.

The contract, awarded by Inox Renewable Solutions Limited, marks a major domestic win for the company as it continues to expand its footprint in the renewable energy sector.

The project is slated for development in Bhuj, Gujarat, and will be executed on a turnkey basis. Under the terms of the agreement, K.P. Energy will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of the project’s balance of plant works, including engineering, procurement, construction (EPC), erection, testing, and commissioning.

Additionally, the company will handle the acquisition of all necessary statutory permits and approvals required for the site.

Technically, the project will utilize Inox-make wind turbine generators (WTG), specifically the INOX DF/3000/145 3.0 MW model with a hub height of 122.5 meters.

The development will adhere to the technical specifications and project schedules stipulated by NTPC for its 99MW Phase-II project.

This award is a “stand-alone” domestic contract, and K.P. Energy has confirmed that its promoter group has no interest in the entity awarding the project, nor does the contract fall under related party transactions.

This transparency highlights the company’s competitive standing insecuring large-scale renewable energy mandates. This announcement was signed by Affan Faruk Patel, Whole Time Director of K.P. Energy Limited.
