RITES Limited, a prominent Schedule ‘A’ Enterprise of the Government of India, has announced a significant boost to its international portfolio.

On 27 January 2026, the company informed the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and BSE Limited that it has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) for a major international order from ICVL, Mozambique.

The contract, valued at approximately USD 20,602,500 (Twenty Million Six Hundred and Two Thousand Five Hundred US Dollars), marks a substantial win for the company’s export and service division.

The scope of the project includes the supply of New Cape Gauge Diesel Electric Locomotives, alongside a comprehensive provision for Preventive Maintenance Services, which includes consumable spares at the site.

According to the official filing, the execution of this international contract is divided into two distinct phases:

  • Supply Phase: To be completed within 15 months.
  • Maintenance Phase: Preventive maintenance services will extend over a period of 24 months.

Operating under the symbol RITES (NSE) and scrip code 541556 (BSE), this move further solidifies the company’s reputation as “The Infrastructure People” on a global stage. RITES has confirmed that the awarding entity, ICVL Mozambique, is an international entity and that this contract does not fall under related party transactions, nor do the promoters have any interest in the awarding body.

This major order is expected to provide healthy revenue visibility for the company over the next two to three years as they fulfill both the supply and maintenance obligations. This report is based on official corporate disclosures
